  7. Thanks for all the pictures! Incredible collection of rust free vintage tin in the swap
Close friend went on Friday and all the pictures really helped put a visual to his description.

Swap meet was good but a little short of buyers Friday but things picked up Sat. The vendor selection was a mix of car part sellers leaning a little more to flea market items. The roadster turnout was a little slim as was the cars in the specialty car parking although the quality of what was there was good. It was a long 3000 mile drive for a less than expected show. Maybe I'm expecting to much as things have changed from the old days? Over all it was a good experience and yes I made room reservations for next year.

  11. Thanks for the photos. Same thing last year. Best cars were in the swap meet area. There were too many 32 cookie cutter glam rods. Glad you found some real hot rods to take photos of.

Looks like a great meet. Thank you for posting pictures. I don't know what people are complaining about. Looks like there was plenty of great stuff for sale and on display. Then again, there is absolutely NOTHING like the LA Roadster Show and Swap Meet ANYWHERE in the midwest. Heck, we don't even have a swap meet of any type and good car shows are non existent.

We are spoiled in So Cal. Car events 52 weeks a year and a decent sized "car and coffee" event dwarfs the largest car show in many states. LARS is cool and I hope it continues.

Stayed home in Central CA this year.
Had a nice model car show to attend, 5th year in Los Banos.
My bud Ken Atkins won 'Best in Show' with his hastily-built '32 Three window Revell. Always attended the L.A. Show, but not this year.
    Sure missed those $18 chili-cheese dogs...:p
