Chris I see you aired up the original tires but how on earth did you get that land yacht out of that tiny shed into the alley and then lined up for the trailer. And it did have to be lined up perfectly to go on the trailer.
I see bilsat called it a chromosaurus- love that term.

I'm not a big fan of Caddies, but that one has to be one of the best looking ones I've seen! I agree with the others, fix what needs fixing and drive that old girl, she's been sitting waiting on a prom date for too long!

 

On ‘57 Chevys I think it was called Lockspur Blue...but that’s coming out of a really old memory.

Great find and thanks for cleaning it up. Looks good.

Of course, there will be some disappointed souls due to the fact that you didn't just clear coat over the grime and then brag about the "barn-find patina".
