picked 100_8837.JPG 100_8839.JPG up this 1955 Desoto fireflite sportsman 2 door hardtop a few months ago, had been stored for many years in primer, the hemi was gone(I bought and sold it 3 years ago) he wouldn't sell me the car back then, it has a Chrysler 413 in it now, going after the 50 cruiser look, putting in interior from a Chrysler imperial,
any other Desoto cruiser's out there?

  2. Sold this one about 12 years ago, wish I had it back. Was a great cruiser.-MIKE:cool:

  4. The mid-50s to 1960 DeSotos are some of the best looking cars in my opinion. I shopped for one for quite a while and then finally gave up.

  10. Sold my '55 Desoto Fireflight to my best bud about six years ago to help with a down payment on a house. The pic is from Ocean City Cruisin' about a month ago. My '50 Dodge is next to it. To me it's still in the family! 0519181041b.jpg 0519181041a.jpg

Hamb'r VonDust built a chopped '55 Desoto a while back. First picture is with an unidentified '59 Desoto that has a Plymouth or Dodge roof on it.

If anyone is interested in a 48 convert and/or a 48 4-door sedan, PM me.
A good friend has both for sale.
