Update: I'm still in hospital therapy. I walked (by myself, without a walker) for 126 feet today. It was wobbly, but I walked. This time one week ago, I thought I may never walk again. They think I'm making great progress.

I'm getting out of the hospital today! Next, there will be a couple weeks or so of home-health. My record so far is walking 500 feet without resting. My biggest challenge so far was to get up off the floor by myself. The first time I tried, I felt paralyzed. Now I can do it myself. Looking forward to finishing the old Ford soon.

Awesome! Make sure to do what your home health Dr.'s say. Not more, not less. It's easy to get over ambitious and do more harm than good with these sorts of things.

Best of luck with your recovery, sounds like you've made some pretty awesome progress so far!

I’m not going to be able to finish this project. I need to sell it. I thought I had already posted it in the classifieds here. Can’t find that ad now.

Randy, life has a way of throwing us curves. Some, if not all, tend to disrupt our dreams and I know that building a custom was one of yours. Maybe you could get with Moose on here and build all the customs you want with Photoshop. Just a thought, hope you are doing ok. How about a ride in the coupe, that should lift your spirits! Later, Carp

My mental health is in pretty good shape. Physically, I’m exhausted. I may find a local shop to get this thing done. I haven’t hardly lifted a finger on this thing for a year. Time to shit or get off the pot.

  28. @catdad49 I believe that was a Photoshop image to illustrate possible paint colors.

Roller Coaster read for sure. I am in kind of the same boat right now.

I started on my life long dream of a '32 5 window and 6 months later they found me cancer has returned. 6 months if I do nothing, maybe 3 years if I do treatments. Started immunotherapy yesterday. Sucks but beats the alternative. I have several smaller projects going and made the decision to sell those off but keep the '32 project going as therapy. If you can do it financially, you may see it keeps your mind occupied and helps some with the worrying and depression. It might also add to it, each person is different.

Wish you well, know you are not alone and keep pushing forward.
