You never cease to amaze me Flop. If I ever get a duece or A chopped I will drive the 3000 miles and wait in line for you to do it. Like many I wish I had just some of your skill / talent for this kind of work.

I recently bough a 32 3 window and never even saw it in person. I just had it delivered straight to Flop's place. It's patiently awaiting it's turn. It's in good hands.

Are you going to weld the header panel above the windshield to the top and eliminate the visor?

It would be so great for us "less talented" if you (Flop) could do a short video of how you go about closing up a section and making it look seamless. Don't get me wrong, the photos are excellent and truly inspiring (and appreciated), but it would be really neat to see exactly how you do it.

Visually, I can see what is going on with the complete roof & rear panel section removed in one piece, but could you "explain" the benefit of making the cut just behind the rear window section and again, just above the rear belt line. I am assuming that this eliminates the occasional relief cuts so many others have made into the roof corners - am I at least on the right track?
    Simply beautiful! :)

I like that bottom cut vs the center of the window cut, has to make for a better weld. Bob

Closer to a body line welds much nicer without warpage and hides much better as everyone looks for the chop through the center of the car . Welding any low crown panel sucks and this is a way to make it warp less . Just gotta watch out for all the ford lead at the bottom

Nice top chop. Beautiful work as always.
Nice to see another “A” chopped so that the quarter window still looks right.
    Thanks.

Thanks for sharing, I for one learn how to do it just a bit better every time I see one your threads.
I really like the chopped but not squashed look of the chop on that car too.
