Haven't posted much in along time. Decided a change was desperately needed from the tub. Haven't decided what I'm gonna do with the tub...find a new home for it, stash it until the love comes back for it, or part it out. This Tudor presented its self and I think it will be a good change. Plus the family will like the roll up windows with the Montana weather. Got a few parts stashed for it, so hopefully I can start a new build thread soon. Can't wait to get started.

Very nice, Kid. But the 'California' in me shouts, "TUB!" ...Yet I understand.
A cold day in Calif doesn't hold poop to Montana.

The sedan has a dash about it...Quite an array of gauges, nice placement.
Is that pair of '36 driveshafts slated for exhaust extraction?

They are! Good eye. It will have a similar style to my old fordor, but what to use more of a traditional x center crossmember on this one.

  6. Wow, that's a nice C-Dan body. Looks like a lot nicer start than my old heap.
What about the treasures in the floor? Looks like a luggage rack spreader bar.

It is and there is an SBC edelbrock x-1 6x2 intake and some vette valve covers like what was on my old fordor. Just a few things in there to get rolling.

Yup! Tudors are awesome. I've always wanted to build one and a plus is that my wife really likes them too!

Hi Gary! I do. It is a pretty solid body with only a few needed fixes. The plan is slap it on a more robust frame and go. Save any fixes for the winter projects. Its amazing how little time there is with a young family. Being a slave to the garage has been burning up my brownie points with my wife... I'm hoping this fixes that.

Good luck with the new project. Now you'll have to re-title this thread (or start a new one)?

I'm thinking 4" to 4.5" range. Sam Lytle's chop on his sedan really does it for me, so leaning towards 4.5". John, is that bones sedan about 5.5"??

Oboy...chopped...the fun never ends here, and I thought the Tub was ultimate.
Kid, you are one to try and keep up with! Love that sedan body...

  22. That's gonna be real cool! I don't think you'll have the love for that body either, so you should sell it to me....haha!
You should mirror Judy Watson's Rolling Bones Tudor. That thing rules!

Have you thought of switching bodies and selling the tub with the sedan frame and parts?

I have. I'm trying to see what will stay with the tub, and what I will want to use on the sedan so I don't have to start the hunt for parts again, and keep the "I wish I would have kept that" scenario to a minimum if that makes sense.

Brandon, not sure on the chop in inches but laying back the windshield has its issues. You can chop 4.5 in the front windshield that is fairly easy but the front top hinge can cause problems any more the the 4.5
