F-one.......I am disappointed......your comprehensive review overlooked or ignored the venerable, mighty and legendary GMC 270 and 302 engines .....:D

I was thinking the same thing that it would be cool to have a straight 6 in the vehicle the 300 sound like an option I will measure tomorrow and see what works. From the previous posts I kinda feel now like I shouldn't have even thought about the Chevy 6. SBC is a little boring and very common but it doesn't have to be done tomorrow afternoon. Thanks for al the feedback

  4. If you do go Chevy 6 look for a 261.
    Same family as the 216,235.
Two ton truck or bigger same stroke larger bore. 1954-1962. 58-62 are full flow full pressure oil filter.

Unless you already have G.M.C. 6 parts stay away.
1/4 longer than a BlueFlame and way more expensive!

    The Ford O.H.V. 6 would be cool 223 or a 262.

What about the flathead Ford six? You know it fits.
    226 car or 254 truck.

Yeah, the H-Series is hard to find aftermarket parts. You'll have to find someone that can split your stock exhaust. Either that or have custom headers made. Reds Headers used to make one for the H, but they don't anymore. Victory Flanges makes a flange.
