    Yes, a local guy had one under a roadster. Looks real from a short distance.

    I remember when he bought it and said it wouldn't clear a 32 gas tank.So he though it in a corner till the other day when i found it.

    Yep, had one. Put out by Pro Car out of Ohio, I think. Street and Performance now has them, I believe. Made one for 8" and 9" Ford and one for GM rear.

  7. Had one in the mid eighties on a nine inch Ford. Was called a Slick Change Cover. Fooled even circle track guys.

    So is open exhaust on stock low compression engines, but people think it makes their ride a hot rod. I kinda like the cover myself. Not sure I'd use it.

    I'm with you seb, first problem I had with this thread was when a bigfoot1.jpg stranger asks me if I've ever seen one of these before.

    that does look pretty good; and it's cheaper than a jaguar rear. remember when guys made their mills look hot by mounting the carb inside an empty supercharger case?
