Event Coverage 2018 LA roadster show roll call

Roll call on who is going to be there. I will be in the swap with lots of parts for hot rods and a 1930 2 door sedan body/project all for sale.

I will be there. I wonder if Friday will be the new Saturday with Saturday being the new Sunday? i always liked Saturday over Sunday.

A bad roadster show is still better than no roadster show

 

Planning on going to the swap meet. Usually only go on Saturday. Question, is it better to go on Friday or are some guys not set up and ready until Saturday?

 

The show this year is Thursday set up, Friday all day and Saturday till about 2 I think. No Sunday.

Went last year and it was not good. It was my first time and I obviously picked the wrong year and days. Should have gotten there Thursday instead of Friday night. The swap meet on Saturday was the best part of the weekend. Sunday morning everyone was gone. Overall it was ok but not what I expected at all. Hope it turns around for everyone going. May try it again in the future but can't this year.

 

So far the weather looks to hold out. Hopefully it won't be 110 in the shade this year. I looked up the weather for this year and it's showing 90-95. Two more weeks to go.

 

I am going, and hope the hotel situation is not a indicator. I made reservations at the Sheraton Fairplex last week from Wednesday through Sunday and they had plenty of rooms. Usually this place is sold out by January or earlier.

 

I'll be in the swap meet Thursday - Saterday

 

I will look you up as we have never meet but talked a lot.

 

I plan on it.

 

Just be sure your officemate or boss don't have the same sickness. I will be there with my camera. If anyone would like pictures of anything special PM me.

WOW... While it's been a year since my last visit (missed last year), the "hot rod" parking has...um...gone UP..!

I think I'm going to like reserving swap spaces instead of having to
fight for something closer in.
