Event Coverage Trog 2018 or lack there of

There is a HUGE presence of 2018 TROG on Instagram.
The Oilers CC/MC and its members are posting lots of stuff daily. So are the guys that are building cars for the race. Lots of "build posts", info on the event, participants...everything.

Follow: theraceofgentlemen, oilerscc, oilerelrod, apnyc, fatherray, tornadoscc, and you'll start to see a TON of stuff.

Years ago the HAMB was the place to be to get event info and coverage. Then Instagram came along and it seems all the hot rod event coverage went there. People don't post nearly as much event coverage here as they once did. I try to put together a nice thread every year for Back To The 50's, but more people follow on Instagram. Also, posting photos only takes a second and there is a built in photo editor that is super easy to use.

If you don't have an Instagram account, you really need one. The hot rod stuff there is INCREDIBLE. Also, lots of hard to find parts for sale. Setting up an account is super easy and it only takes a minute.
That's where all the coverage is. You can also contact (PM) people instantly, even the event organizers.

My wife and I will head down Thursday. Really missed not going last year. We take our motorhome and camp half an hour away. Then have fun driving roadster back and forth.
