Hot Rods I want a real definition between 2 barrel carbs and 4 barrel carbs

I can't believe I read all 60 postings. Furthermore I can't believe EVERYONE missed the question.

The real definition is: twice the number of venturies.

2 in a 2bbl, 4 in a 4bbl.

All this "uncle" BS is just noise, much like when the aforementioned Quadrajet is at WFO.
