Hey guys hoping someone can help me if this axle. Was thinking 36 ? Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
my guess with those limited views of the distance between the perch and king pins...35-36..as it is spring ahead the beam, if that is what it is, fits from 33-36
What I mean on "fits" 33-36, is that the actual beam is the "same" as 33 thru 36. I run one on my 32, I like the looks better., and is easier to drop compared to a 32 heavy, with what I have for tools if those wheels were on it when new, it was a 35
One of who knows how many Ford I beam ID pages but it is rather easy to follow. https://randwspeedshop.com/pages/how-to-identify-early-ford-i-beam-axles
Your real issue on that one will be is it worth it to have to cut the spindle away to be able to grind down the weld to use the axle as a hot rod axle?
. Sorry it was not for lack of looking for other posts I just got confused with the 32 axle then the 32 to 36 ? Thanks for the help I may. Leave as a boat trailer. Or modify for a bike trailer. Thanks again. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Looks like a mix and match combination of parts, '34 truck hubs? with drums cut off, a '32 spindle with the steering arm torched off with later wishbone and axle.
