  5. In my region we have a lot of dirt roads with a sprinkle of gravel on occasion. And the dirt & red clay turns to mud that sticks to the underside of the vehicles. and it has lots of minerals and salt. no one washed the underside back in the day. and they rusted from the bottom up. As time goes buy and vehicles & parts get scarcer. Stuff that was deemed too rusty and of no value is now sometimes deemed viable. also things like wire welders and that availability of replacement sheet metal floor pans and other body parts can sometimes be a game changer. Ive got several other 55 thru 59 cabs that are pretty solid. a 59 bob truck. and a 57 dump truck. the 57 dump even has good doors. The cabs and doors on them are the same as on a pickup. even the hoods interchange. However setting & rotting 004.JPG setting & rotting 007.JPG the front fenders are wider and larger.

  6. FACTS! FACTS? People all the time use facts to prove stuff that isn't even half true! Quote from Homer Simpson.

  13. Ive got the title for that car. The guy who I got if from stated the air quit blowing cold so his daughter quit driving it. He stated the battery rubbed a hole in one of the lines? Ive never even attempted to start it up. The vinyl top needs to be removed. There is a following for those 4 wheel drive eagles so it might be worth messing with?

  14. Old wolf- is that yard open to the public? I may need a pair of 55-57 big truck fenders, and Arkansas isn't TOO far of a drive :)

  16. The Ford truck is a '35 or '36. If the doors have removable garnish moldings, it's an early '35. The doors interchange '35-'37. Flat windshield makes it a '35 or '36 '37 has a split V windshield. International was not into annual model changes, so the Haybaler truck could be anything from '41-'49, same truck all those years, have to run the serial number to tell model year.

Just saw this on Facebook. The clowns that run the page like to crush old stuff, and rub it in everybodies face. Hope that's not the case here. Any history?

Yep after he sold Oldsmobile to Durant and GM he could not use his name on his subsequent auto/truck company.
