I came across this yesterday. How hard is it to find a cap and rotor for one of these or should I just consider selling it 20180515_195243.jpg 20180515_195221.jpg 20180515_195250.jpg ? Does anyone have pics of what the cap looks like?

Try Bubba's ignition. He's on the HAMB.

Kong used production car caps, but I've got no idear what cap that one used. Hopefully somebody will recognize it. You stumbled on a nice piece! Is this from the old guy's collection you have been sorting through?

Kong used 1931-1932 Lincoln caps, Autolite IGL 1003. I think other cars like some Packard's used the same cap. They go for crazy money on that auction site. About 5 years ago someone made a run of repop caps and they do come up. I also have seen them with a adapter ring and more readily available caps used. The points are still available.

This picture is from that auction site.

  7. Contact Kevin Johnson at American Vintage Parts and tell him that Bill McKay said that you should call him- he will probably have what you need and his prices are very reasonable!
