A friend built this, the Wheel of Death. Has a sweet 2 cylinder diesel and a 32" blade on a trailer that's not much bigger. When you fire it up the whole thing shakes, and when you engage the pulley and the blade spins up it almost jumps off the ground, I have yet to see anyone watching not take several steps back. Also has a chipper and a generator up front.
Neat stuff, but I thought this was going to be about wooden decoys, boat motors, calls, Peters or Remington shotgun shell boxes and waders.
Just something cool I found on Instagram. I left the pages name, for credit purposes. If your on here, bro, this is awesome. Sent from my SM-J727V using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
This Buck A Bout was in the local park for years and years. The head of maintenance got tired of replacing the springs (they are just car springs) and asked the council to replace it. My wife works at the city and told me (she wanted it saved also). I asked the head of maintenance what he was going to do with it. He said scrap it. I said DON'T. As the head of the parks department about buying it. He said they were going to save it. I said fine, just dont scrap it. Anyway, it got put on the scrap pile...........months go buy and the head of Maintenance see's me and tells me it's going to be scrapped, he needed it out of the way. I asked him what he thought it would bring in scrap. He said around $100. I went home, got a check and told the mayor "here" I'm taking a trailer down and getting it to keep it from getting scrapped. No one said a word and it's still in my backyard. When I got it, it was painted solid yellow.
I thought this was the only place to put this! Lol Sent from my SM-G920P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
This is kinda cool, I've had it for years. Back in the day the different soda companys had these made with their logos, I've seen 7up, Orange Crush, Dr Pepper and this one I have. They were made with a barbed end to secure them when hammered into the asphalt at busy pedestrian cross walks for advertising. I wondered if any of these were covered over when the streets were repaved.
My first shot at a whirl-e-gig. Hard to see but it is supposed to be me and my late best buddy Scout. The boat go's up and down over the waves when prop turns. I will try and get a better photo. Man I miss Scout.
King of the hill, no question. Like the late great Bluto but right here on our continent. I'm pretty sick...I like the deconstructed woody the best!
