  16. Not mine but it almost was. These pics were taken at a car show in 1960 or 61. It was painted aqua primer with gold and white scallops. I ran into it for sale many years later painted in peacock Metalflake and missed it by two days. Don't know if it still exists or not.   17. This is my grandson's Elky we finished a few years ago. We spent 2 years, every weekend doing a ground-up complete rebuild. Had a great time with him. He sold it to raise money to move from Calif to Texas a couple years ago. Also grew to 6'6" and didn't fit the car any longer!!

    So that truck was only 1 or 2 yrs old when somebody chopped it and did all that customizing.

    That 58 Chevy is one of the best conversions that I have seen done. Looks well proportioned and factory prototypeish.

    The car started as a 4-door wagon, with the doors extended rearward. No mention is made of a chop.
