Let's see 'em. Pre-'65 of course. My old Indian Scout. I bought this out of an airplane hanger estate sale. The owner was found dead in his crashed plane, near the border, the plane was stuffed with cash.... It was in boxes but already a bob job pretty much as in the pic, I just put it together and got it running. Rode it quite a bit, then got an offer from a dealer, my hardtail days were about over anyway. Later saw a video of it in Japan, guess it ended up there.
This is a 1916 indian Board Track Racer I have been working on and off for several years. It always seems to on the back burner when I have something else to do. I've got to finish the rear fender, seat mount and a few minor items and except for paint that I still haven't decided on it will be finished.
The orange wheel bike is a 1947 Knucklehead and the other is a 1965 Panhead built to look like a 1950's era bike. They both ride nice and it's relaxing to cruise around the older historic brick street neighborhoods early in the cool of the mornings.
Here's an odd one I had, a Vindian. A friend built it in high school, it languished for years until I snagged it about 15 years ago. Got it going again, rode it a bit and sold it (along with my Scout and other stuff) to buy some land. I believe it was parted out for the Vincent Black Shadow engine it had.

So in high school about a dozen of us had a little motorcycle club going. I was a freshman in metal shop grinding pennies into dimes for the vending machines, a guy a year ahead of me learning welding (oxy acetylene with coat hangers) convinced me that extending the swing arm two inches on my Honda 90 was the hot poop. So we cut it in half and found some equal size pipe. "Don't we need to sleeve it inside?", says I. "Nope, the weld is stronger than the surrounding metal", says he. Here I am playing Evil Kneivel, either before we extended it or after I found a replacement after it broke in half (at the welds...) and left me stranded but, fortunately unhurt.

How about an almost bike. I've got pieces scattered around the shop to finish this project just can't get motivated on it. Here is a piece I think is kinda cool. I was looking for a cool air horn and came up with this vintage Coleman filtering funnel. I cut the end off and fitted it with a small filter/screen, I think it turned out kinda cool.
Started this project in 2001, still not finished but I did do a test ride in 2017. Bike is based on two bikes built in late 40's early 50's. Motor is 37 Ford 60 with a Harley four speed. Front end is 39 Indian. Frame is homemade.
Another friend Erine Barkman's knuckle head drag motorcycle. He tows it with a 39 standard and homemade trailer with model a axle. I can not find any photos of the tow rig right now I will post some latter.

A friend of mine bought this '49 Thunderbird, NOS still in the crate!, about 15 years ago. He put it on the road (questionable thing to do, maybe) and rode it a few thousand miles. I bought it in a package deal. It rode like a brand new bike.
My 57 Trophy Bird rebuilt it in 82& didn’t ride it for over 30 years & started 5 kick my lil Indian also plus I have 48&59 panheads
