Condolences to the Herb family and friends on the passing of Bill. @hd1084 was this Bill in his Hotrod or was he a photographer? Just wondering. Thank you for sharing the unfortunate news with us...you just answered my question in your update to the post above. I know the Hotrod I posted it in the Homogenized thread some time ago. May he Rest in Peace
Yes I gathered that thank you. It was a fairly new build I hope he had some very good times with it. I see he did make it to Bonneville. Was he a Hamber?
BIll was one of my mentors and a ballsy guy to hang out with!! He was advising me about my modified and always had good advice! WE rodders up on Lake Erie will miss the guy! I'm sorry for family and friends!! what a loss!!
Oh Geeze! I can't believe Bill is gone! Bill and I became good friends when he had first moved to Florida. We became fast friends as I used to frequently visit him at his garage. He taught me so much. His passing leaves me incredibly sad.
ZZFord, he passed away Monday afternoon surrounded by friends and family. Things have been a whirlwind the last few days but I assure you that any thoughts, prayers and condolences will not go unnoticed.
Sorry to hear this, there are an awful lot of good ones up there in the clouds now. What's the history on the car, what does it look like with the sheet metal peeled back so to speak ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------.

Most of the pics are mine besides the good guys stuff and the 1 from Bonneville. Bill and I had always talked about doing a build thread for the car. Once I get my head on straight from the last few weeks I will start putting something together in honor of him.

So sad. To see younger ones pass away is very alarming. My condolences to all his friends and family.
I didn't know Bill, but admired his car at last Charlotte Good-Guys. We stayed at the same motel. R.I.P.
I never met Bill but I've admired his Coupe several times when I was fortunate enough to see it in person. My heart goes out to all of Bill's family and friends.
Yes, I will be there as well as a being a pallbearer. We are having a small car show on Saturday but the weather is looking terrible so we are not expecting much. At some point we are going to put together a show at his shop also.
Shamus, for some reason I feel like we talked at the hotel. I don't know and don't run into to many people with that name lol. I was driving the car in Charlotte.
