What in the lots of room in the garage is goin' on over there???

  4. Did some cleaning/arranging last Friday afternoon.., figured I'd been here 2 years now, it was about time!

  5. If those I beam rods were made by a company starting with "E", and ending in "agle", I hope you checked the big end size, torqued! They are notorious for pulling inward upwards of .002 at the parting line (they go oval, more clearance at 12 & 6 O'clock, less at 3 & 9 O'clock). They always need resizing, or pull your feet up, and buy plenty of oilsorb!

I tend to get kinda oval at 12 and 6 and I'm usually making clearance around 3 and 9. Just sayin

Things tend to get pretty “oval” on Friday night at the Meltdown once some of that apple pie starts to make the rounds....lol

Well folks it lives the hemi runs and I might need some of that "secret recipe" to feed this thirsty beast IMG_0936.JPG

  11. i have a recipe for you. it does not involve a mixing spoon but rather a hydrometer with a scale of 50-100 percent. the secret will be out as soon as it fires up.

Yeah that would be awesome brian but with the way my luck has been this year the crankshaft and rods would be out as well lol so I'll stick to the "corn squeezins" for now lol

Got my $6.00 clutch alignment tool from Ram yesterday in the mail....complete with $21.00 shipping/brokerage fees.Living in Canada has a couple drawbacks like that.
Naturally, the pilot shaft on it needs to be turned down from the stock Chrysler diameter,to the smaller diameter of the one on my Nash transmission.A millwright buddy at work is handling that tomorrow.
    Nothing’s ever easy.lol

Got to Endeavor to Persevere to race a Mustang.

  20. If it was easy everyone would be doing it. Racers are a little tougher group.

We have to have a rematch at the Meltdown. Rebel Rouser was having some clutch issues at US60 this weekend. F85F6D57-EC66-4D85-AC51-96C4A21311B3.jpg

So after getting Wife,Mother, and Grandmother all brunches and gifted, then doing about 6 mths worth of property maintenance in 6 hrs, finally got my replacement clutch pedal shaft mocked up and welded into place.
Worst quality photo ever to follow, proving that something actually got done today.
