I bought a 47 Ford COE a few years ago, and am just getting around to it now.

Even a few years ago I had a heck of a time finding coe sheetmetal patch panels, and now it seems I cant find a supplier anywhere.

There was a supplier that had: running boards, panels for the rear of the cab, cab corners, a panel for under the grill, panels beside the grill.. and maybe more. Did I miss the boat & S.O.L. !?

Does wescott still have front fenders ?
Is anyone making any COE parts ?

Or is it time to invest in an English wheel...?

They were bought out by someone. The info is on this forum, I just don't remember.

Under the Members heading at the top of the page check out the social forums. There is a COE group that may be able to help.

Apparently their tooling was bought by Mid Western, so I wrote them yesterday... got this response this morning...

    Bummer....

I wonder why, not that it matters in the end...

  7. You might make an inquiry over on The Ford Barn. There are some COE guys there that might be able to be of some help.

Moral of the story sadly, is buy it when you find it, not when you need it.
I don't always live by this philosophy but wish I had on many occasions, but do now...
