If you mount the Model A handle looking down you won't be able to lock it. Sent from my SM-J320P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I know it drives me nuts, it only takes a few seconds to turn the tire and align it with the stem. Bob
Years ago, I had the pleasure of working with a gentleman, from a Porsche dealership. Will never forget him telling me, the Porsche hubcap point, had to line up with the locking lug nut, which in turn, had to correspond to the valve stem. Their way of knowing if some flunky worked on the car, before them. I think it’s kind of cool But I’m a bit OCD Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

Oh contraire mon ami, irregardless IS a word, however. It is still used primarily in speech, although it can be found from time to time in edited commentary. It's popularity as a conmanly used word has not risen to the top over the years, and it is still a long way from general acceptance. most people rely on the regardless instead. HRP
Barry,to my knowledge Henry Ford didn't offer the greyhound hood ornament until 1934 and it was made by Stant in Indiana and was sold as a accessory ,the 32 greyhound ornaments where first seen in the 60's and are aftermarket pieces using a 34 greyhound & 32 radiator cap. HRP
As to "clocking" tires; What happened to the practice of offsetting the heavy spot on the wheel with the heavy spot on the tire? I always do it. (EDIT : This reminds me of Hnstray's signature line. "In any conflict between Physics and Style, Physics always wins".
The windshield wiper park position is another . To me it belongs towards the center , others have them parked towards the left
Well, maybe Henry meant for the Greyhound to be running away from, not running to. Turn it around and see how you like it...
An ignition key that's right side up won't fit an ignition switch that's upside down. But a key that's wrong side up will. This can be confusing if the door & trunk locks are right side up. That's why I always use all keys and mount all locks right side up to avoid confusion and breaking keys off inside locks. Jack E/NJ
Yes. I'm confused what I wrote too. So I found this picture of a key that's right side up and upside down. Now I'm not so confused anymore. Jack E/NJ
And don't even t me started on the morons that use "then" and "than" interchangeably! My car is faster than yours. Mine came in first, then yours came in. And the guys that tell you spelling doesn't matter...Yes, it does. It's called literacy, try it!
