There is an auction on June the 1st in Promise City, Iowa. It is being managed by my son Chad. If you facebook him there are pictures. There will be several Hemi motors for sale along with a large collection of memorabilia. I will try to get a picture. There are like 8 Hemis featured.

Apparently you don't read the HAMB much. He's been back for over a week.

I don't own any Hemi stuff, but my Dad has an Ardun equipped flathead built by Schnell. My first brother has a Desoto 291 with a multi carb intake (forget which brand), and my second brother has a pair of Ardun heads for his flathead. I've got some patterns about half done to cast him some new injection manifolds similar to Hilborn for his Ardun motor.

    I'm nobody.
    Just an old idiot.
I truthfully haven't built anything relevant since Masterson and I chopped Matt's merc and we built the Tiago Ranchero clone.
A few bikes, but those don't count around here.

This thread makes me think back to the eighties when I started going to swap meets again. There was all kind of hemi stuff laying around for sale dirt cheap. It seems like nobody wanted it. I remember wishing, "Gee, I wish I had a hemi!" When I finally got one, it was almost too late. I managed to score a few parts before things went crazy.

    Hi there
Hi there the 8x2 version of the X3 manifold is rare as, where did you get this, and do you know any history on it? Was it on a speed boat years ago? Many thanks Brett

Starts good, runs strong, but sucks gas! I like the looks of them because they're old and large. The Rochester 2 Barrel just look too small on a Hemi.

Hi there I would like to respectfully ask this question hoping not to knock the apple cart over, but would you consider selling this manifold? I saw that it has been converted with a alloy plate welded on top to take the 8 carbs, but still a cool piece , many thanks Brett
