Oh man. Got me on that one... I am without doubt, irrationally disturbed by inappropriate gauges in cars... I always have been. I think a lot of that is due to the fact that I'm a hack in the shop and gauges are the one thing I have absolute control over.

That tach looks far better there than it did in my display case.....

You don't always have to recreate the wheel, maybe just true it a little bit. ;)

Hey, I just installed my stock cluster and a look-a-like tach this week.

I offset the tach to the right so that I could see the odometer, and ignition switch.

    I dig it.

  13. You just made me feel like shit......I picked out a set of SoCal gauges that I hate...have the big rid and white SoCal logo on the faces and a speedo that goes to 200 MPH. And they're genuine plastic! I'll run them in my dash [and I'm not too crazy about it either] 'till I get all the bugs worked out and switch to some "real" gauges...love your new ones.
I always thought the green line gauges are perfect...............for a boat.

    Yep. That's right.

If I were a modern gauge manufacturer, my gauges would cost 4 times what they do today... They'd be steel bodied and feature no logos at all. Basically, they'd look like Sinn watch faces...

Wow, what a view with all that and the crestliner wheel to boot!

Love your shoebox Ryan. Man that's a good one!! Just got my 6v 8 cyl Transmitter, 5k Football Tach, and Aux gauges refurbished by Williamson's. Ron and his team do impeccable work.
