I use the 56 occasionally to haul furniture and other items, I just put a blanket down first. IMAG1494.jpg

Since I added to this thread in '13 I have used my 49 F1 as a truck many times. Headed to bonneville in '14 but the salt got rained out. We towed a small '65 camper trailer & got a bit of attention. Recently we got our trees trimmed, I hauled away the cuttings & supplied a friend with a couple truck loads of good firewood. I had three vintage campers in the back yard & towed them to another yard for safety. I got good responses while towing them, especially towing the caned ham. It looks right behind the 49. Old truck, old trailer, old driver.

I haul heavy things in my 53. Here's 700 pounds of iron. A sheet of plywood to protect the bed helps. Heavy Metal.jpg

  21. Just about all that fits, but I'm not afraid to use it, got to make that 800hp engine earn it's keep. 15027414_10207166078499043_5421067250214002312_n.jpg

image.jpeg image.jpeg In the month of April our shop truck traveled to Austin Texas for the lone star round up then to Atlanta ga for the Atlanta Autorama and next week we're headed to Nashville for the good guys show. I'd say that's about 5000miles and we're always taking the 1959 Harley hummer and loads of stuff
Yea I'd say we use it
