Well after the 2 big snowfalls this week I am ready for a swap meet. Who is going to Jefferson next weekend? I will be there Friday and Saturday. Hopefully I can stay home on Sunday and admire what I bought on Friday and Saturday. I sure hope this week was the end of snow and cold bull**** for the spring.
how much snow on the ground there? we have about 12" still on the ground in southern Minnesota and there is a swap meet coming up at the State Fairgrounds this weekend....not sure if it will be all melted?
I will be in the car corral, as usual. plenty of snow as of this morning. I doubt there will be any left by Monday
i see that Jefferson swap is the weekend of 27th-29th....snow should be gone by then....i hope! the swap meet here in Minnesota at the fairgrounds is the First 50 auto club and it was scheduled for April 22nd. on their website i now see that one has been moved to May 20th
We got another 8-9 inches of snow last night...getting bitch slapped by Mother Nature. It should all melt by next weekend...ensuring that Jefferson is one big mud puddle, as usual. Bring your hip waders!
i will be there rain snow or shine. I have always found great stuff there. its worth going just for the big bar and a hot dog.
We got hammerd last night 5" it was still dark when I left this morning but I'm guessing 5". Make sure you put your hunting boots on it will be a mud fest.
My son and I will probably be there Sat, maybe even my grandson if he can get off work. My son has a list of stuff he is looking for, and I have a few things I would probably drag home if they are priced right. I'm hoping I can still get a Big Bar, or 2. Gene
I'll be there Saturday for sure, and maybe on Sunday. This year, Street Rods, are the featured vehicles and get the asphalt parking area. This will be my 15th year of attending this show. The weather is predicted to be on the mild and warm side for this years show, with no rain or snow in the forecast. Might now even need the muck boots to navigate the vendor areas!
Going to be there Saturday. Taking the coupe on a test drive looking to buy some stuff I can’t live without Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
shouldn't be a problem by Friday. Last of the snow banks will melt today. It is actually very dry in Southern WI. No rain in the forecast. It would be nice to have some showers on Thursday and Friday nights, as the place will be a dust-bowl otherwise. We are just never happy!
A few of us UP North guys are coming down today, It's been a LONG winter, typing this at 3:30 am leaving here at 5:00 am. Woo Hoo, big bar, car stuff, old friends, Be there or Be square.
