Look like SeaBurst will be in issue #51 of TRK Traditional Rod & kulture magazine (next issue) Sent from my iPad using H.A.M.B.
You should bring Seaburst up to Denton, TX in November for the Pistons & Paint show. http://pistonsandpaint.com
As a student at Benson Polytechnic in Portland I studied under Mr Hunter. It took a while to really understand what he instilled in me about creativity, quality and functionality. I miss him, but carry on with his mission. Sent from my SM-G928V using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
That is one GORGEOUS car. Hope to see it at PnP this weekend. I'm very surprised though, that it's not known what bodystyle the car started as. I'd think that would all be determined by the VIN and/or a body tag.
Stop by and see SeaBurst on the grassy knoll at the LONESTAR ROUND UP This weekend In the featured car section Sent from my iPad
Having seen and photographed it at indoor shows it will be well worth the walk to see it in person outside for those who are at Lone Star.
Green Competitor too “SeaBurst” in 1964 Portland roadster show Was called “Fascination” 1953 stude they were the only two in the full custom class at the time. SeaBurst won
Normally I am not one of those Custom bashers, but that Stude is really ugly and ill-proportioned. It's the antithesis to your car, which is perfect IMHO.
Found an old photo on Dick Pages FB Page of SeaBurst At the 1964 Tacoma show (behind bike) anybody know the bike or person in the picture Sent from my iPad
Looks like SeaBurst was on the cover of the 1965 Portland roadster show official program. look behind the bronze hot rod Notice the fake palm trees and yellow car behind Sent from my iPad
I love how that white rock and beach theme was a trend in the northwest. Taboo had a similar setup when in was showing heavy. That show was unique when it was in the memorial coliseum basement. You could barley drive the cars in. It was pretty common to have to use jacks and dollies to get cars into spaces with all the concrete columns.
