I had a spare support so I used it.
It was a wee bit wide so I sliced, hammered and welded it.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

    guess I missed her ! ... bummer.
It is at this point that I like to trim off the harder curved trunk gutter and replace it with a home made gutter that follows the quarter's radius down to the floor where I drill a drain hole which I drop a screw with lock washer into, water drains around the washer but not much gets back in...HIH.

Ron, the next time you want to dimple a panel like this try drilling a small hole in the center first then put your dimple in. You should find the metal will move much easier. Please note the hole will also get larger so I stress "small hole". See ya in the spring...

Been working crazy hours for WAY too many days now. Today is day 37 in a row-13hour days. I can't wait to get a few days off to sneak into the hideout.
I need to finish the bodywork on the roadstah, put a rebuilt generator, swap the short rear tires for 7.50s, and add a two pot intake. That'll probably do it for this year. I got the car registered awhile back so I plan on driving the crap out of it and just enjoying the car.

So I need to thrash on my car next couple of weeks.
I was accepted to race in NJ this June. This year I will be way more prepared.[IMG]

Great pics. Making your own parts. That's what hot rod building is what it's all about to me. Anyone can buy parts. You just made this your own!

You gotta make custom parts to fit a guy this big into a Model "A"! Lol DSCN2989.JPG

Well WD57, you sure did what you labeled the build, "Built Something Our Of Nothing", and then some. Hat's off to you.

Cut out of work last two days. 10 hrs instead of 13. Right into the garage I went. I had to secure the body to the frame and subrail. Last year it was sheet screwed and wired.
So I lined up the cowl, doors, and quarters. Now both doors open, yay!
Mounted a new panel below the trunk. Tomorrow is rumble lid time.
