  8. The Plymouth was originally a 1946 to very early 1949 (first series) four door sedan.

  9. I've seen pictures of these cabs used on big trucks...like 4 or 5 ton or bigger. I sure don't understand why gm would build this design though when they already had a wrap around cab.

And a T-bird roof laid on over the top, looks like.

  12. Looks like it’s got good bones. Somebody just needs to save it.

  17. That '56 Ford pickup looks very buildable. It actually looks better than some old trucks I've driven. If I had that truck, I'd be tempted to just get it mechanically sound, safe, and reliable, do very little to it cosmetically, and drive the living daylights out of it.

This showed up at the farm where I rent space. Looks like it was sitting & rotting a long time. I remember seeing an old farmer still driving it in the '80s. IMG_2736.jpg

  25. The Chevy truck could be anything from a '41-'46, those years all looked the same. A limited number of trucks were built for the civilian market during the war years. There are some '43, '44, and '45 model trucks out there.

  27. I'm thinking the parking light lenses are longer on the 41s - is that right?

I took these photos this morning. I have driven by many times but finally got close with the camera. May be of interest to some of you. This is near Toledo, WA next to the 5 freeway. If you drive the 5 between Seattle and Portland you have certainly noticed this place. I kind of got chased away but spent some time conversing with the owner and no harm done. Photo quality sucks; my camera is the same one they use for photos of Sasquatch, UFO's and Elvis. DSC08096.JPG DSC08099.JPG DSC08100.JPG DSC08101.JPG DSC08102.JPG

  29. Oilguy,

Wow! Just the vehicles on the transporter are enough to get the blood circulating.

    Great stuff.

  30. He obviously cannot "fix" all of those, so does he sell them or just hoard them?
