The first thing I thought of was something a friend of mine always said:
"Girls are so lucky, all they gotta do is look down and there they are".

Great look in gal,but the seat is too far back for her to drive comfortably, especially with a 3 on a tree. Not the point ,photographers purpose was to feature her best assets!

My brother in law started working there in 1960-61. I was 12 and we toured the huge stainless vats of cheese. I don't think the coupe was still parked there, but it might have been one of these.. '25 Dodge.

    Tommy Ivo twin:

    Hello,

Tommy Ivo has had a fabulous career. We met him at Lions way back when he was getting started in drag racing with his first single Buick FED. That was a very cool race car. When ever we were at Lions Dragstrip racing or just hanging out to take movies, one of Ivo’s Buick powered race cars was there ripping up the competition. We also saw him at Riverside Raceway and at the Bakersfield Smokers March Meet in 1960.

Here is a series of movies of Tommy Ivo from the beginning single Buick to the 671 version to the twin Buick FED. What a great competitor, series of historic race cars, and person.
When my dad went to the drags on those rare times, guess which race car he loved the most? For a long time Buick owner of various models, (41-84) it was obvious, the Buick race cars of Tommy Ivo.
