I found this image of the Superbell coupe that I have never seen before, so I just had to use it.

It was a sad day, when we all walked into the local newsagent, and Rod and Custom was no more.

    So true Gary.
But one of the things that is so neat about these covers I am doing. Is when I get them just 'right' and they have that 'right' feel , they take me right back into the local newsagent as many as 45 years ago.
I have magazines in my collection that when I look at them I could tell about the day I bought them.
So if what I am doing has that affect on others, then that is a good thing.

I came across the shot of the 3W pulling the front wheels, it just had to go onto a cover.

Yeah that is Steve Galdes 3W. recently completed all steel and original Ardun. Great hot rod owned by a great guy..
Although I did lower it, as well as move the wheels in the wheel arches for that cover.

Yeah that's a nice looking roadster FB. I made a few changes to it before adding it to the cover.
Here's another roadster, but with totally different style.

Thankyou Gary. Chopping it and lowering it was the easy part. Getting rid of the spare wheel off the back took a bit more effort. Not perfect but not bad.
It does have a real good feel to it.

Interesting that the trunk lid has 5 rows of louvers Geoff, most that I've seen have 7 rows so the 5 row versions are not common. Then there is 5 matching rows in the rear pan. That is a beautiful car.

Interesting comments Peter. I think I much prefer the 5 rows. But that can depend on the color of the car also.
But I do enjoying styling observations, it makes one think. It is also another aspect of what I am doing with many of the cars on these covers. I am altering them in some ways. For the most part they look great to begin with. But quite often I see something that in my eye can improve. But whether others see what I alter as an improvement is very subjective.
    Enough of my thoughts.
    Thanks for you comments Peter.
