I used to make yearly visits to my aunt's home in Lakewood CA beginning in 1969. Anyhoo, I came upon a couple of images the other day which I thought fit this theme. They are from one of the earlier trips, but I have long forgotten the exact year..
This really nice "T" was sitting on her neighbour's lawn one summer:


This may have been the same year on the way home up the 101. A cool little "T" and trailer:

He takes it to shows all the time here.... Good stuff

 

The Chevy stands out with all that oil underneath. I do think the rims are red.
