Going through some books to start selling and ran across these in the ISCA Fun on Wheels monthly magazines from the mid to late 90's. 6. Cool book! I haven't ever seen that one before. If you're selling, lemme know where to find your ads. :)

    Not a bubble-top, but a great show rod...Ray Fahrner's "X-Ray".

I really dug the GMC blown Jag mill, but it was probably just for show. Although the car was reported to have a top speed of 150 MPH, the blower was not a part of the make-over.

The car still exists, AND on bias-ply tires!

To me, bubble-top show rods began, and could have ended, with the "Beatnik Bandit".
Among other things, Roth was a master striper. Zoom in and check the panels, then count the lines.

Now check the lines on the resto.

  13. Cool ad Rude.. There's a clip (which may have been posted before?) on YouTube with Lloyd Bridges in the Silhouette:

You know Austinrod ... when I took that shot I was thinking that you where going to notice that and comment...lol. That picture with that brick wall background has been in several different magazines I've noticed even positioned differently in a couple of shots.....nice car glad it's still alive.....
