Going through some books to start selling and ran across these in the ISCA Fun on Wheels monthly magazines from the mid to late 90's.

 

Cool book! I haven't ever seen that one before. If you're selling, lemme know where to find your ads.

 

Not a bubble-top, but a great show rod...Ray Fahrner's "X-Ray".




I really dug the GMC blown Jag mill, but it was probably just for show. Although the car was reported to have a top speed of 150 MPH, the blower was not a part of the make-over.

The car still exists, AND on bias-ply tires!

 

To me, bubble-top show rods began, and could have ended, with the "Beatnik Bandit".
Among other things, Roth was a master striper. Zoom in and check the panels, then count the lines.



Now check the lines on the resto.

Wow...There are more bubbles on this thread than what "The Lawrence Welk Show" had.... I know a few of you are saying who the Hell is Lawrence Welk?..... I know some of these are probably already posted....

You know Austinrod ... when I took that shot I was thinking that you where going to notice that and comment...lol. That picture with that brick wall background has been in several different magazines I've noticed even positioned differently in a couple of shots.....nice car glad it's still alive.....
