Can someone give me the measurements between the centre of the headlights of a 47 Ford please ?

52" on a '46.

 

I guess the question is why ?

 

Because mines in a 1000 pieces in two places and I want to work out how much I need to shorten my 50 Merc grille surround to make it fit !

Well I damn sure wouldn't start with cutting and making custom pieces to fit then.

 

I was wondering why you would need that also, thanks for clearing that up.

 

I've got sympathy because I'm often enough looking for obscure dimensions like that. Most times it's to figure out whether an idea is viable at all or whether it's back to the mental drawing board, as it were. No good finding that out when you've already committed to some expensive stuff.
