    ...for the rain to stop and the roads to dry. Michigan's spring this year hasn't been hot rod friendly.

  6. In my case its a loud peddle. :D

    No pics on this computer, but I am using a combination of a drum peddle and the second brake peddle from a drivers ed car (circa 1954). Sooooo for all the nay sayers I am running a period cable throttle.LOL

    @DDDenny that's slick. :cool:

    Someone might accuse you of running a Lenco. :D

    I don't know what a LENCO is, sorry. Could you post a pic? Maybe it's one of these?

    I bought this Offy pedal at the Portland Swap Meet a couple of years ago, took it apart, drilled it, sanded and polished it, inserted bushings in it, polished hardware, and then I didn't use it. What a boob. I have a whole box of stuff from my build like this. Need a gas pedal?

    I bet a monkey could make a keg tapper out of that.

    Oh, good idea Doug, and I just happen to have a brand new moon tank in that box of ooops parts to make the keg out of! I'm a pressure pump away from a mean hot rod growler. :cool:

    Sorry Pete, one of the HAMB faithful beat ya to it. :( I'm just glad it will be on a hot rod and not on my shelf.

    Gotta keep up with the latest vernacular DD. It's actually a little dated but works. I'd guess Dreddy to be in his mid 30s maybe? ;)

    It's actually hanging on the old floor awaiting installation to the new floor.

    It was ;). I said that jokingly on my post but I got an overwhelming response and it got snatched up. I peddled my pedal so to speak. :D

  24. This is what the gas pedal looked like in the wagon when the original broke when my fatherinlaw was out of state fishing,he robbed this off of a old barn and drove the car over 800 miles like this.

    this is back in the early 70's and was still in place when we got the wagon,I'm sure a rodent rodder would be excited if they saw it!:rolleyes:

    This is what it looks like today. HRP
