Been pretty busy. I've decided to take the car to vlv20 this year. So time to at least get the suspension done. Got a lot done in the last week. Upper a arms made upper arm brackets and cross shafts. Will be getting the rack mounted tonight.

Looks to me like the lower a arm wont have much travel in the spindle? Potential for a lot of flex in those upper a am supports. Staying tuned to see what comes of this. Not much time till viva

Yea I'm feeling the crunch. There's about 10 in of total travel in the arms. The car will come down anot her 1 1/4" and it'll still have 1" of upward travel so I'll have enough for speedbumps and gutters. The upper arm mounts are 3/8 plate so there's no give in them. There is flex in the frame from a lack of crossmember. I'll also add gussets from the bag mount to the upper mounts once it's in to help stiffen it up.

Thank you. As I was growing up i was in the gap between magazines and early Internet so I always got intrigued when I found a builder that posted lots of work in progress.

I ended up bringing down the rear wheel well. Didn't like the smaller well on the front compared to the rear. The car had multiple body damage to both rear quarters. Even a poor half quarter replacement on the driver side. I came up on a parts car so I'll likely be redoing both quarters.

Im thinking about redoing the rear window using a original frame and stretching the roof over how i have stretched the catwalk now.

Started fitting my gas tank. Decided to go with a poly tank with in tank pump. I've seen a few cars with stainless tanks but with in tank pumps they seemed to to be much noisier than poly tanks. 20171215_224535.jpg

  17. Looks good. Rear fender mod sounds like a good idea, too.

Maybe try a smaller rear window from another car if that original is too much work to get it to fit right. Like a chopped model a rear window. Easy. Just my opinion. Your car is sick btw. So much good work done to it.

I've considered using a couple style window but I like the curved rear glass too much.

Had alot of rust under the trunk latch so I replaced it with one off a donor car. 20180130_000929.jpg ran my brake line down the link bar. All stainless lines. 20180404_215506.jpg started fitting the new window frame.
