O.K. guys I am sure some people are getting tired of seeing this post since its not car related, but Robert loved working on old cars with me. NOW A UP DATE Teresa called me yesterday all excited. They have taken Robert off the vent machine .He is breathing on his on.{they said they wouldn't take him off till he was fully awake} Well he finally OPEN HIS EYES!!!!We are not sure if he can see right yet but his mom says he knows her voice.. The plastic
surgeon said he cant do anything with his face until at 3 months after the Dr.s are sure the brain is on its way to healing and all the swelling goes down.These posts will be come fewer as he gets better {we hope} but I will keep you up dated. I may have to go back to Flordia in the future because once you are out of a Flordia hospital that's it. We may be bringing him back to East T.N. for theropy. Again THANKS for all your well wishes and prayers. Bruce.

Great to hear he is doing better Bruce and Teresa. Say hi to Sunny girl for me, she must have missed you terribly.

 

Bruce, he's just starting his personal restoration project so I think it kinda the same in a way as other projects. Get the mechanical working and then the body work. Not making light of the situation but sometimes looking at things from a different perspective makes things easier.

 

So glad he is on the "right" side of this birthday!!!!!

 

One thing about it is that God knows. It wasn't a surprise to Him and He's got it all under control even when it looks like everything is spinning out of control. Praying for the family and full recovery.
