One I added to the collection of stuff the other day

 

I see many pictures of V8 engines (and others as well) with 6 2 bbl's and 2 4's but just what is the record for how many carbs got planted on one engine. I'm sure someone has gone for a record of silliness.

 

I had a top for a 671 that took 8 Stromberg's.

 

I once saw a pic that had 10 2 bbl.'s on it. Don't have a copy unfortunately. Don't remember what the carbs were either. I don't have a pornographic, er, I mean photographic memory so don't quote me but I think it was a home made log manifold.

I bet someone on here has seen sillier though.

 

We know that Weiand made and sold several 8 carb log manifolds for Chryslers. Many pictures here with Garlits running one. And I think also a four four bbl. cross ram has been pictured here.

 

It's all eye candy....

 

It is now. But it was the hot set up at one time.

I bought it real reasonable. I’ve got a few but I just can’t help myself.

 

The Munsters car had 10 2 barrels , LOL.

 

And a single carb hidden under all the eye candy, that actually ran the car.

I guess I never posted my Weiand LM8. 1960 almquist catalog shows the Chrysler 8x2 was $78 but the 8x2 for Lincoln/ Merc was $81! What the heck...
