If you are attending, better make it tomorrow morning. Weather has high winds and many inches of rainfall predicted (what else is new) for Saturday and Sunday.
Race track is open today and the weather is no all that bad.

Thus the expression "we aint in Kansas anymore". 24 MPH here means it rains from the ground up as well as sideways.

I remember attending both ways. Downpours and sunny. Walking the track will be nasty when it is coming down in buckets.

I will be one of them tomorrow only. No way I'm sticking around for Saturday. Selling the Nova, stop by and say howdy. And bring some cash.

Last year was the great tent migration... The wind blew, they took to the skies, and never returned...

I saw several vehicles on trailers being hauled that way today including a Studebaker Lark wagon. Wind and rain at the Portland Swapmeet in April is about as traditional as it gets.

A friend of mine just sent me this. Sounds like someone bought it. Lets see some pictures and hear some reports of what was there!

  13. I wish we were getting rain...expecting 1-3 inches of snow tomorrow and more in Sunday...maybe 7 inches! HEY WEATHERMAN! It's April! Stop with the snow already! And there's a local swap meet on Sunday. I won't be there.

What a shame. How the heck did anyone even know about it out there? That pretty remote and with very few people.

I was there today. Kind of soggy and didn't find anything I couldn't live without. Going to try again to waste some money tomorrow.

I've got more crap than I need but I'll more than likely help with cleaning up the track after the shindig. Did it last year as a friend of PIR.

Up at 5:00am. Home at 8:00pm. Long day. I had a car to sell so I didn't get a chance to do a lot of surfing but I needed coffee to mix with my Bailys and Kahlua so I took a few shots on the way.
This was sweet! Didn't get a price but I got a number if you want to call

It wasn't the worst of times, not the best of times but beat picking shores out of the honey do jar and a lot better than working.

Oh, sold the Nova. had to drop the tag a bit but good sale. Big winds tomorrow, ill be watching the masters on TV from the comfort of my home. Portland swap meet 2018, $8 dollar beers, $7 dollar beer dogs, skanky swap meet chicks, one guy dressed like the tin man from wizard of OZ, rain till noon, sunny later...not all that bad really.
