Can anyone help I.d this cam for me? I just picked up a 327 chevy. The cam has Erson Viking 100M on the end and 1030 stamped just below. Anyone have some old Erson catalogs. Thanks. Sent from my SM-T550 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Thanks, but looked there first, not listed as this is an old cam. Sent from my SM-T550 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
they have a contact page: http://www.pbm-erson.com/ContactUs they were really good about getting back to me when I requested info regarding a TQ20 cam
They ARE good about researching old info. My son has lots of early Sig Erson products, they've replied to every question. Howard's Cams' son is also responsive, dug for some old info for me.
Great service from pbm , came back with the cam card specs the same day. Thanks for the link. Sent from my SM-T550 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
So..................what was it? I have an old NOS Erson cam, and it's hardly anything more than a stock Chevrolet cam. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
Pt.#. E111081. Solid lifter. 115' lobe separation. Valve lift : .440" in. .440" ex. Duration: 310 in. 310 ex. @.050" 244 in. 244 ex. Not sure what that equates to rpm range, cam specs not my strong point. Hope it's going to work, the motor had an early Torker fitted to it and would like to keep the same parts. That is similar to the old 327/350 hp cam. It was .447 lift, hyd. Yours has a little less lift and a little more duration.
Thats cool, seems like it was a reasonable choice for this motor then. Not sure about the Torker intake though, not much off idle they operate 2500/6500 rpm. May go for a dual plane instead. Sent from my SM-T550 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
