Sorry for the late response Bruce, I just saw this . Poor kid, I am at a loss for words . Hope the swelling goes down, and thoughts are with him, you and Theresa . Try to stay positive .

 

Damn Bruce, I am so sorry to hear about this. Needless to say I will hold all of you guys in my thoughts. Also Bruce If there is anything else you guys need be sure and holler.

Im sorry to hear this, prayers coming from Wisconsin for your entire family Bruce. Gods hands are at work with the great doctors and support staff at the hospital. He has a long road in front of him, but trying to move around this early is a good sign. As you know, family is #1 and he is fortunate that you are part of his. Stay strong & God bless!

Yes, it was just getting light. The one car had stopped{when they saw the accident ahead of them} and the other car was slowing down and Robert thought he was going to stop but no fast enough and hit him The state troopers came up to the hospital and explained all this to us and the driver was very up set and kept asking the state troopers please tell me I didn't kill him. It was just a freak accident. Thanks Bruce.

 

Good morning and HAPPY EASTER to you all. They are trying to wake Robert up this morning. The Therpast is working with him right now. She is making him try to raise his arm 1 at a time. Good new he is trying to lift his arms. Have to wait for the meds to wear off and if he does they will try and take him off the vent. I will post later on again and Thanks for all your prayers .Bruce &Teresa.

Missed this until now. So sad to hear about a good guy being a first responder in action, and getting injured. Prayers sent for a good recovery and strength for all.
