Event Coverage 5th Annual SWMO Hot Rod Hundred - March 31, 2018

So, it's that time of year again, and we finally got this year's T-shirt art proofs approved.

Chad Morley, at Hotshoe Hot Rods will be providing a hospitality stop again, and we will have another fantastic pulled pork lunch waiting at the end. While we are having lunch, we will present the Long Haul, Hard Luck, Club Pick, and Robert's Choice awards.

Looking forward to another chance to drive the two lanes with a a couple hundred hot rods and kustoms! Will be heading up Route 66 from OKC that way Friday morning in my beater 66 C10 along with Tony Emig in the t-shirt artwork 53 Chevy and Tim Payne in his 36 Ford 5 window.

 

Can’t wait. Hope the rain stays away!

Was a great day here for the cruise! There were 205 cars counted that participated today and the weather worked out almost perfect. The stayed away except for a small shower early in the run but gave way to a very nice remainder of the cruise and all. Thank God for that!

Bret can tell you more about it since he’s much more of an eloquent talker than I am. LoL!

Lol. No...but funny enough, I'm pretty much a Chevy guy that has been driving a Ford for a few years. However, the Ford's are also currently outnumbering the Chevy's in the shop 2:1.

Once again, a fantastic weekend, like Jeff said, definitely one of my favorites of the year. Sorry, I took no pics to speak of.

LOL at Mike taking the group down to the river on the closed route! He told me that story at the lunch.

I was @Leevon 's passenger along with my son and Lee's daughter, and we had a great and relaxing ride in the blue Ford wagon. It's like sitting in your living room traveling in the Country Squire.

Enjoyed the route this year, and getting to help park all those cars at the church in the beginning. You are about to need a bigger staging area!

 

There is always St. Louis In Oct.
