Hot Rods HEMI powered 1939 Studebaker

I like it!
Just for your info a hemi will fit (between the frame rails) anywhere a SBC fits. Hemi's are rather narrow below the heads. I raced Hemi's, BBC, Rodex, SBC and various Ford's.

 

Well slow and steady wins the race.
Its finally moving under is own power for the first time in nearly 40 years.

Well it was back to work on the trunk and rear fender area.

Its all back together now and solid for the first time in a long time!

Looks good. How is the front grill and chrome? That’s my favorite part of this model.

I cant find a better center chrome strip. I have better head light rings and a pair of 39 Lincoln Zephyr bumpers for it.

Great choice...My Desoto Hemi is pointed toward my roadster or tub. I have an Olds for my '47 Ford taildragger...Love those flare skirts! Rare...as are '39 Zephyr bumpers. Kudos to you for pursuing all the 'right stuff'!
Also, congrats on the loss of previous install of air bags.
To 'lay frame' is...well, LAME. (sounds like a contraction of the words, doesn't it?)

The body was Maroon. That is what I plan on going with.
