Hot Rods Original wishbone ball used on split bones???

    I found these pictures online and like the idea of the setup, has anyone done theirs like this? I think the pictures are from a build from Ionia Hot Rod Shop.

    Also do you know if anyone reproduces these ball ends? And the sockets to suit?

    That’s a cool idea. I saved my ball(s) from two sets of wishbones. Good idea for my truck project.

    You can pick up the old Ford wishbone mounting cups at just about any swap meet. Likewise you can pick up some balls too.

    Dont loose your balls! Around here there is no problem finding wish bones , dont know about your neck of the woods.

    not as easy to find them down here in australia, will post on some local forums and see what i can find

    Check out the 8N Ford tractor, on the bracket that mounts the front arms to the engine

    I think you can get repro sockets and rubber from Antique suppliers, Joblot etc..Balls in mild steel can be gotten from Macmaster-Carr I think....
