Features 1949 ,50 ,51 52 Buick Pictures

My all original, unrestored, '49 Super Sedanet. 41K original miles.
Runs and drives good, but Dynaflow leaks badly. Will do a refresh on it when I get the time.

 

Saw this in Cuba a couple of weeks back.

 

Power was a 4 cyl turbo diesel! They are very creative. 49 to 53 Dodge and Plymouth everywhere! Must have been tough cars,hardly any Fords.Lots of GM's. But just thousands of pre 59 cars.

Just gotta do what ya gotta do ! Imagine trying to keep these car in repair in Cuba !! Somehow they get it done .

 

Nice cars for sure but do the math , these cars were only just coming into antique status in the eraly 70's . Food for thought , right there .

 

Thanks. I like these lowered and hot-rodded, but this one is too nice of a survivor to alter it. Plan is to just maintain it and enjoy the original vibe.
