Wondering if 57 Buick wagon taillights are the same as the sedans. Trying to put together a Caballero.

I just looked at a bunch of pictures of both and they sure look the same. I know this is no help as there could be differences in size or something else. I would not think that they would be different as the wagons were a very small percentage of 57 Buick production. I would not think GM would spend the money to produce a different tail light just for the wagons.

  5. If you have a part number on the housing you can google it and see.

Hmm... hadn't thought of looking for part numbers. I have two castings but the guts are gone and even at that the castings are cracked. I have a lead on a couple sedans with some. One sedan has the left and another the right. Hopefully they'll work.

Thanks for the replies. Sometimes it's just a pool of people's thoughts that makes the difference. This is going to be a hard won fight and looooooong term project. Hard to find any wagon parts cars. I was fortunate enough to run across one yesterday(seriously rough) that will sacrifice it's frame.
It's a post wagon. Came with a 3 speed manual. I thought that was odd. Couldn't have been too many of those I don't suppose.

All the same for Specials and Centuries. So any body style of a Special or Century will fit your wagon. Super and Roadmaster’s are different superficially anyway. Transmission still in the parts car?
