Technical 63/64 Galaxie NOS Upholstery Question

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Al T, Mar 18, 2018.

  1. A few years ago I bought NOS bucket seat and rear seat upholstery for my '64 Galaxie (that has now gone down the road) but never installed it as it didn't go well with the gold paint on the car. I'd like to move these along to someone that can use them but am trying to figure out whether these are '63 or'64 covers and what trim code they actually are. I'm assuming beige, but they have a real metallic color to them? s-l1600 (7).jpg s-l1600 (1).jpg s-l1600 (2).jpg s-l1600 (3).jpg s-l1600 (4).jpg
    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. They look like 64 seat covers to me. The 63 seat backs have vertical ribs and those look to have horizontal ribs. I'm sorry, I don't know what trim code they are.

Those are '64. Are they for an XL?

    Same color as my ‘64

  7. Would beige metallic make sense? Cracker, could you tell me what the trim code is on your data plate?

  8. Doing a little more research, it appears the covers are Beige Diamond Luster which is interior code 84? Opinions would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

They might be convertible , measure the width . It should be narrower than a coupe or hardtop.

  10. They’re convertible covers. I bought them for the ‘64 Convertible I had at the time.
