Thanks Dick. That looks like a pretty large car. I wonder if Jay Leno owns it - he's in the second picture.

Thanks guys I like it too...I felt alot of vintage thought went into its creation...This is a link to the original build thread here back in 2010...credit to the original builder. Fenders and headlights were modded by 2nd owner also a Hamber. The aluminum top mimicking wartime aircraft is done by Hamber @Koz.

I just checked the thread red x fix no worky however if you go to last page (15) I loaded as many original pics I could find...its to bad so many build threads f'd up.

Lee Hammock's 34 Phaeton with the only California Top, a version of the Carson Top.

    Hello,
Taking photos of a very cool car during its build was fun and exciting, as you did not know when or what was coming up next. This Santa Barbara area (Goleta) 34 Phaeton was one of the best. It had the most unusual top. A local builder/upholstery "genius" made this custom top just for the Phaeton years ago. They called it a "California Top." It made the Phaeton stand out from all of the other cool Phaeton hot rods.

Thanks, BHK and your multi-color glasses... very cool.

The 2.25 x 2.25 Twin Lens Reflex, Mamiya Camera was able to get down to the lowest possible view without too many aches and pains for the old back. The top "rear" photo is what a gopher sees when running across the street from one hideout to the next.

When it’s right it’s righteous. Mo’s on top of his game, as. Usual.
