What can you get for 10 bucks now a days?

Well for those who came on out on Saturday, they got this cool poster designed by Peddro and some tasty Istra sausages with scrumptious caramelised onions and all the trimmings and some drink. Not bad for 10 bucks I reckon. Oh yer, and they got to drive some great back roads in Central Victoria and watch Paul and I go Toe to Toe in the ‘who can have the most break downs’ competition.

So its been and gone again. Another year on. Special thanks to Dave and his wife Katie for procuring the food and doing the onions . A big ‘wow’ to Peddro for the poster again, every year he manages to do an amazing job – he truly missed his calling.

The biggest thanks to all those who came along and made it a day to remember. We hope you had a good time, a great cruise and some decent grub. After all you’re the people we do it for.

We’ve been talking and I think we might do something mid-year, so watch those emails.

    Photos.

    First the poster.

We started off at the Macedon servo as usual. it was a decent day, most of us had some breakfast at the red door cafe there, if ever you're in the area stop in and have a coffee.

I'll have a look at the other photos I have, I didn't take as many this year as normal, at least of the driving side of it. Peddro took all the ones at the start and at the finish. I was taking the money and handing out posters and then cooking sausages.

So all those are Peddros shots on my camera. I usually take a heap while were driving as how cool is it to look out the back of your roadster and see a line up of hot rods following along.

But I think I was to busy trying to read the map directions and thinking on the misfortunes the car was throwing my way.

There are probably a few people who attended who took some shots, heres hoping they will post up some photos.

  23. Thought I would add a few pics , great day as usual guys , thanks for organising this great run every year !! MMmmmmmmmmm Istra sausages ....................... P1330712.JPG P1330711.JPG P1330713.JPG P1330715.JPG P1330716.JPG P1330718.JPG P1330720.JPG P1330722.JPG P1330723.JPG

    Thanks Greg,

always great to see a different perspective of things. And thanks to you and Colleen for coming the distance. Hell we'd put it on if only you said you were making the effort!

Was also good to see Darren with his new to him car, another big drive from La Trobe Valley. We appreciate you lot who do the big drive just to get there.

Awesome day again and awesome pictures. I just can't help but notice that most photos are me in the background working on that bloody pickup. And I think I may have won the 'Who's Hotrod is the Most Unreliable' award for the weekend. Had to tow it up the driveway when I got home.
    Can't wait for next year.
