    Totally agree, I plan on shaving the door and the back cab (see dotted red lines) cab and cowel fitting.jpg

    Any possibility of curving the bottom of the door to follow the lower cowl inwards? Laminating wood could be an answer, but an awful lot of work.

    I love what you are doing, your "mock up" is too nice not to use!
