I just got word yesterday that Randy Mead, Ol Deuce on here, had passed away. He just turned 70 March 9th. He had been in the hospital with pneumonia. I have no other details at this point. He was one heck of a nice guy and long time Hot Rodder.
Sincere sympathy goes out to his Family and friends, like you Sent from my SM-G930V using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

Thanks, Stogy...for helping those of us who didn't know him to...know him a little. Obviously a long-time true hot rodder. Much respect.
My sincere condolences to Randy's friends & family. RIP @Ol Deuce ... you'll certainly be missed around this place.
Thanks for putting that together, Stogy. You did well. I actually met OL Deuce through a forum for 3Wheelers. You know, the old Honda death traps from the 70's and 80's. He was responsible for some world class builds there also. He loved anything with an engine and going fast.
Your welcome. This is one of those things that calmly unites us around here...solemn but heartwarming at the same time. He sure did many cool things. Thoughts again to you and the others who new this man much more than myself.
I, too, express my condolences and comfort to the family. We all have to leave this world at some point, live well while and play hard while you are residents. Looks like he did form these photos.
Another hotrodder to Heaven ( must be getting noisy up there). Please pass on my thoughts and Prayers to his Family and Friends. Thanks to you all for putting a face to the name.
